Your responsibilities

 

As Public Relations Director you will play a key role in the strategic development of our fast-growing company and specifically our media relation business.

 

  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients – from start-ups to the European Commission - entrusted to you on a daily basis.
  • You will have regular contact with the press and online influencers.
  • You will develop effective and profitable strategies based on the clients’ needs.
  • You will organise press conferences, one-to-one interviews, experts roundtables, press trips, etc.
  • You will write/translate all kinds of content (press releases, press kits, PR surveys, video scripts, etc.).
  • You will develop - with the help of our webmasters, graphic and motion designers – content that will support your clients’ messages.
  • You will monitor the press and create impactful reporting based on predefined KPIs.
  • Project management will of course include people management.

Your skills

 

  • You have a higher education degree (university level) relevant to our activities.
  • You have a proven experience in press and online influencers relations (ideally in an agency).
  • You are Dutch-speaker and have a very good knowledge of French and English.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the Belgian media landscape.
  • You have a sound address book, and the press/ bloggers, YouTubers, etc. appreciate you for the quality of your contacts.
  • You are highly creative, with experience in reaching your clients’ audiences & building PR campaigns that meet the clients’ objectives.
  • Empathy is not an empty word, but the secret to opening hearts and minds.
